When people from different religions fall in love, there’s automatic tension that is conjured. Parents from both sides of the union may oppose the link up, based on their religious norms. For Diamond and Zari, things got quite interesting.
We would have expected the Tanzanian crooner would convert to Christianity since that’s what most dudes do — they convert to the girl’s religion.
However, Zari Hassan did it. She is now turned to Islam.
The “boss lady” took a moment recently to clear the air after a photo of hers being baptized emerged online. During an interview on the Top Twenty show with presenter Millard Ayo, the gorgeous mom said accepted that she was once baptized. She clarified that it took place in 2013 but now that she has a new lover, she has decided to follow his religion.
